Hole LC-26-174 was lost before reaching its intended target depth. The hole intersected 0.39 g/t Au over 15.24 m above the intended target zone. Hole LC-26-186 was terminated at a depth of 64.01 m due to ground conditions while drilling through the reported mineralized interval of 1.29 g/t Au over 38.10 m. Other results included 0.40 g/t Au over 44.20 m in LC-26-176, 0.35 g/t Au over 10.67 m in LC-26-177, and 0.66 g/t Au over 28.96 m in LC-26-181. Hole LC-26-178 was abandoned, while LC-26-184 did not return significant gold values.

Geological Interpretation and Exploration

Historical drilling at Lapon Canyon has identified gold mineralization associated with a broad, shallow, iron oxide-altered horizon. The 2026 drilling program has also intersected gold mineralization hosted by intrusive rocks, including monzonite, providing additional information for evaluating the distribution and controls of gold mineralization at the project.

The intrusive-hosted mineralization raises the possibility that parts of the system may be related to a broader intrusive-related gold system, potentially including a monzonite porphyry-style setting. Elevated copper values identified through multi-element geochemical sampling provide an additional exploration vector for evaluating this interpretation. Further geological mapping, geochemical work and drilling will be required to assess the nature, extent and significance of the intrusive-hosted mineralization.

The Company is also evaluating whether higher-grade gold intervals, including those previously reported in hole LC-25-170, are associated with structurally controlled zones within the broader mineralized system. The relationship between these intervals and the surrounding mineralization remains an exploration target.

Drilling at Lapon Canyon has generally been conducted from drill pads spaced approximately 30 to 60 m apart, with individual pads accommodating multiple holes oriented at different azimuths. Historical and recent drilling have been used to interpret the mineralized system as predominantly sub-horizontal to moderately south-dipping, with the potential for more steeply dipping higher-grade zones. The geometry and continuity of these zones remain subject to further drilling and interpretation.

The 2026 program has included infill drilling, testing of potential extensions along strike and down dip, and exploration of deeper geological units. The new results will be incorporated into the ongoing compilation, interpretation and modelling of the project.

Geochemical and Geophysical Exploration

The Company is conducting a preliminary soil geochemical survey at Lapon Canyon. Initial results are reported to show a spatial correlation with gold mineralization intersected by drilling. The results remain preliminary and will be evaluated as additional sampling and analytical data become available.

The Company is also reviewing results from its 2026 airborne geophysical survey at Lapon Canyon, Pikes Peak and Rattlesnake. The integration of geochemical data, geophysical interpretations, geological mapping and drilling results is intended to help identify and prioritize additional exploration targets across the Lapon Gold Project.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We are encouraged by the broad gold-bearing intervals returned from the latest drilling at Lapon Canyon. We are continuing to integrate the drilling results with our geological interpretation, soil geochemistry and airborne geophysical data to refine our understanding of the mineralized system and identify additional exploration targets across the project.”

Ongoing Work and Next Steps

Ongoing work at Lapon Canyon includes data compilation, geological interpretation, mineralization modelling, detailed geochemical surveys and follow-up field reconnaissance of targets identified from the airborne geophysical survey.

Drilling during 2026 has focused on infill and exploration objectives, including evaluating potential feeder structures and testing deeper intrusive bodies. Results from previous and the 2026 drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will be the basis for the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project. Further assay results will be released as they become available.

Sampling Methodology, Chain of Custody, Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Reverse-circulation drill samples were collected at the drill rig at 1.5-metre intervals. A representative portion of each sample was collected for geological logging, and samples were submitted to American Assay Laboratories in Sparks, Nevada, for preparation and analysis. The Company’s quality control program included the insertion of blanks, certified reference material (CRM) standards and duplicate samples at a combined rate of approximately 12%, comprising four of each control type per 100 samples. All sampling was completed under the supervision of a professional geologist (P.Geo.). One CRM failure was identified in the samples from drill hole LC-26-183. The laboratory reanalysed the failed sample and ten samples on either side of it. The repeat results were reported as satisfactory, and the accepted result was incorporated into the project database. Samples were prepared by crushing to greater than 70% passing 2 mm, splitting a 1,000-g subsample, and pulverizing to greater than 85% passing 75 microns (lab code P-c7J10). Gold was analysed by 50-g fire assay with ICP-OES finish (lab code IO-FAAu50). Samples exceeding the 10-ppm gold overlimit threshold were subject to gravimetric determination using a 30 g sample (lab code G-FAAu).

Walker Begins Drill Program At The Lapon Canyon Gold Project

Vancouver, B.C. June 11, 2026 – Walker River Resources Corp. (“Walker” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: WRR) is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2026 reverse circulation (“RC”) drill program at the Lapon Canyon Gold Project, located within Nevada’s prolific Walker Lane Gold Trend, approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Yerington, Nevada.

The 2026 drill program is designed to advance both resource expansion and exploration objectives through a combination of infill and step-out drilling. A primary focus of the campaign will be testing deeper intrusive-related targets, including prospective monzonitic and porphyritic intrusive phases and associated gold-bearing feeder structures identified during the Company’s 2025 drill program. An initial 10,000 metres of RC drilling is planned, with the potential to expand the program, subject to drilling progress, permitting, and access conditions.

As previously announced on May 27, 2026, the Company recently completed a property-wide airborne magnetic and radiometric survey covering the Lapon Canyon Project. Interpretation of the geophysical dataset is ongoing and is expected to enhance the Company’s understanding of the Project’s geological and structural framework. The results may assist in refining drill targeting and evaluating the potential for additional mineralized systems at depth. Preliminary observations indicate several geophysical features spatially associated with known zones of gold mineralization and previous positive drill results.

Historically, gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon was interpreted to be largely confined to a broad, shallow, iron oxide-altered horizon. Results from the 2025 drilling program, however, identified intrusion-related gold mineralization associated with monzonitic intrusive rocks, significantly expanding the Project’s exploration model and highlighting the potential for previously unrecognized mineralized source zones at depth.

The recognition of monzonite-hosted gold mineralization may indicate the presence of a broader intrusive-related mineralizing system, a style of mineralization commonly associated with significant gold deposits in Nevada. This interpretation is further supported by elevated copper values observed in multi-element geochemical analyses and by the identification of interpreted structural controls that may represent mineralized feeder zones, including those associated with higher-grade intervals intersected in drill hole LC-25-170.

The Company looks forward to providing updates as drilling progresses and as interpretation of the recently completed geophysical survey advances.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We are very excited to start this year’s drill campaign at Lapon, after the outstanding drill results from our 2025 drilling, now along with results from the recently completed geophysical survey.”

Other on-going work at Lapon Canyon consists of data compilation, resource modelling, a follow up geological mapping and sampling program, in conjunction with the recent geophysical survey’s identified targets. Results from the previous and 2026 drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will be the basis for the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project which is expected to be completed in 2026. In addition, using the above exploration work to identify future drill targets in the deeper-seated intrusive bodies and new resource expansion in the relatively unexplored areas of the Property.

The scientific and technical information contained in this news release has been reviewed, verified and approved by Dave Nuttall P.Geo, President of Geo Exploration, who is an independent Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Walker River Announces Completion Of Airborne Geophysical Survey At The Lapon Canyon Gold Project

Vancouver, B.C. May 27, 2026 – Walker River Resources Corp. (“Walker” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: WRR) is pleased to announce the completion of the first geophysical survey at the Lapon Gold Project, located within Nevada’s Prolific Walker Lane Gold trend, 60 km SE of Yerington, NV.

Highlights:

  • Property-wide airborne magnetic and radiometric survey completed to support structural interpretation and hydrothermal alteration targeting
  • Several magnetic low and K/U – K/Th radiometric anomalies spatially correlate with known gold mineralization and drill intercepts, suggesting a potentially larger mineralized hydrothermal system than previously recognized
  • RTP magnetic maps and 3D magnetic susceptibility inversion modeling defines an interpreted magnetite-destructive hydrothermal alteration zone, traceable in the inversion model to >900 m depth.
  • Geophysical signatures associated with the deposit area highlight additional exploration potential north and south of the Central Zone and Hotspot areas

The survey, which covered the entirety of the Lapon Gold Project, was completed by Precision GeoSurveys Inc. and consisted of approximately 496 line-kilometres of airborne magnetic and radiometric surveying, including 3D unconstrained magnetic susceptibility inversion modeling.

Survey equipment included an Airbus AS350 helicopter equipped with a Scintrex CS-3 cesium vapor airborne magnetometer and a Medusa gamma spectrometry system. Survey lines were flown at 100-metre spacings with an average terrain clearance of approximately 30 metres above ground level. Selected infill areas at Lapon Canyon and Pikes Peak were surveyed at 50-metre line spacings to provide enhanced data resolution.

Initial interpretation of the geophysical dataset identified several magnetic and radiometric anomalies spatially associated with known gold mineralization and positive drill results. At Lapon, intrusion-hosted gold mineralization appears closely associated with localized magnetic low features identified within the 3D magnetic susceptibility inversion model.

The magnetic and radiometric survey results have enhanced the Company’s understanding of the structural and alteration framework controlling gold mineralization at the Lapon Gold Project. Magnetic susceptibility inversion modeling has defined a coherent northeast-southwest trending magnetic low spatially coincident with drilling-defined mineralization. The magnetic low remains open both at depth and along strike, suggesting the hydrothermal alteration system associated with mineralization may extend beyond the limits of current drilling. The interpreted mineralized corridor is bounded by magnetic high features that may represent lithologic or structural controls influencing hydrothermal fluid flow and gold deposition.

Results from the geophysical survey will also be utilized to identify and prioritize potential deeper-seated intrusive bodies, including monzonitic and porphyritic intrusive phases, as well as associated gold-bearing feeder structures identified during the 2025 drill campaign. The dataset will additionally support geological mapping, structural interpretation, and future drill targeting across the Project.

Figure 1. (Left) Magnetic susceptibility 3D inversion block model with drill traces and downhole assays. (Right) Plan view RTP magnetic map of the Lapon Canyon property with drill traces and downhole assays.

Radiometric interpretation identified coincident potassium-to-uranium (“K/U”) and potassium-to-thorium (“K/Th”) ratio highs spatially associated with known gold mineralization, a magnetic low anomaly, and a prominent northeast-southwest regional lineament. The mineralized zone occurs within a potassium-enriched domain along a sharp radiometric boundary interpreted to represent a major structural and/or lithological corridor that focused hydrothermal fluid flow and gold deposition. Elevated potassium relative to uranium and thorium is consistent with hydrothermal alteration and provides independent support for the interpreted mineralized system at Lapon. The strong correlation between radiometric anomalies, magnetics, and drilling-defined mineralization demonstrates the survey’s effectiveness in defining controls on gold mineralization and prioritizing additional drill targets along strike and at depth.

Figure 2. Plan view sections of the Lapon Canyon property showing %K/eU ppm and %K/eTh radiometric response with drill traces and downhole assays.

Historically, gold mineralization at Lapon was interpreted to be largely confined to a broad, shallow, iron oxide-altered horizon. However, the 2025 drill programs identified intrusion-related gold mineralization associated with monzonitic intrusive rocks, significantly expanding the Project’s exploration potential by opening previously unrecognized deeper-seated rock units capable of hosting additional mineralization. The identification of monzonite-hosted gold mineralization suggests the possible presence of a larger intrusive-related mineralizing system, a deposit style commonly associated with significant gold mineralization in Nevada. Elevated copper values observed in multi-element geochemical analyses further support this interpretation. The results may also reflect structurally controlled feeder zones, including higher-grade intervals intersected in drill hole LC-25-170.

Drilling completed in 2025 at the Hotspot zone significantly extended gold mineralization to the south and east. Drilling at Lapon Canyon is conducted systematically from strategically positioned drill pads typically spaced 30 to 60 metres apart, with each pad designed to accommodate multiple drill holes oriented in varying azimuths. Historical and recent drilling indicate that the gold system is predominantly sub-horizontal to moderately south-dipping in geometry, with evidence of steeper dipping, higher-grade shoots developed within the broader mineralized envelope. Recent drilling also successfully identified intrusion-hosted gold mineralization, a style not previously recognized at Lapon. The 2025 drill programs were designed to support both resource definition and exploration objectives, including infill drilling within the Hotspot deposit and testing for extensions along strike and downdip.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “The results from the first ever geophysical survey at Lapon is very exciting. The discovery of geophysical anomalies coincident with positive drill results within dioritic and monzonitic units significantly increases the gold mineralization potential at the Project, opening up new areas for the exploration and potential discovery of intrusive hosted and iron oxide-based gold mineralization.”

On-going work at Lapon Canyon consists of data compilation, interpretation and resource modelling. The 2026 drill program, beginning in early June, will focus on in-fill and exploration drilling to define the potential sources of the feeder zones and emplacement of discrete deeper seated intrusive bodies.

Results from previous and the 2025 drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will be the basis for the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project which is expected to be completed in 2026. In addition, work will continue at Lapon Canyon to identify future drill targets in the deeper-seated intrusive bodies.

The scientific and technical information contained in this news release has been reviewed, verified and approved by Dave Nuttall P.Geo, President of Geo Exploration, who is an independent Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Drill holes LC-25-167, LC-25 172, LC-25-173 returned no significant results

Historically at Lapon, gold mineralization has been restricted to a broad, shallow, iron oxide- altered horizon. The 2025 drill programs have identified intrusive related gold mineralization at Lapon, significantly expanding the project’s exploration potential, by opening up new deeper seated rock units capable of hosting additional mineralization. The identification of monzonite as the host rock for the gold suggests the possible presence of a monzonite porphyry system, a deposit style commonly associated with gold mineralization in Nevada. Elevated copper values observed in multi-element geochemical sampling further support this interpretation. These results may also represent gold mineralization within feeder structures, including higher grade zones such as that encountered in drill hole LC-25-170.

Drilling in 2025 at Hotspot, significantly extended gold mineralization to the south and the east. The majority of drilling at Lapon Canyon is conducted systematically from strategically positioned drill pads, with pads typically spaced 30 to 60 metres apart and accommodating up to six holes oriented in varying azimuths. Both historical and recent drilling indicate that the gold system is predominantly sub-horizontal to moderately south-dipping in geometry, with evidence of more steeply dipping, higher-grade shoots developed within the broader mineralized envelope. Recent drilling has also successfully discovered intrusive hosted gold mineralization, a style not previously recognized at Lapon. The 2025 drill programs were designed to support both resource definition and exploration objectives, including infill drilling within the Hotspot deposit and testing for extensions along strike and downdip. All holes from this release were collared from the upper new drill roads east of Hotspot.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We continue to receive significant gold values over impressive thicknesses. The discovery of gold within dioritic and monzonitic units increases our excitement at Lapon, as it opens up new potential at the Project for intrusive hosted gold mineralization. The discovery of definable high grades feeder zones at depth only serves to increase our excitement.”

On-going work at Lapon Canyon consists of data compilation, interpretation and resource modelling. Further drilling in 2026 will focus on in-fill and exploration drilling to define the potential sources of the feeder zones and emplacement of discrete deeper seated intrusive bodies. We will be undertaking detailed and extensive geophysical surveys to aid in targeting.

Results from previous and the 2025 drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will be the basis for the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project which is expected to be complete sometime in 2026. In addition, work will continue at Lapon Canyon to identify future drill targets in the deeper-seated intrusive bodies.

Sampling Methodology, Chain of Custody, Quality Control and Quality Assurance

All sampling was conducted under the supervision of the Company’s project geologists and the chain of custody from the drill to the sample preparation facility was continuously monitored. A blank or certified reference material was inserted approximately every tenth sample. The Lapon Canyon samples were delivered to American Assays Laboratories’ certified laboratory facilities in Sparks, NV. The samples were crushed, pulverized and the sample pulps digested and analyzed for gold using fire assay fusion and a 50 g gravimetric finish. Certain intensely altered samples used a 1 kg pulp screened to 100 microns. Duplicate assay on screen undersize. Assay of entire oversize fraction.

Samples are taken and bagged directly at the drill rig at every 1.5-meter interval, standard in the exploration industry. A small sample is also taken at the drill rig and put into a chip tray for examination purposes and to determine those sample bags that should be sent to the lab for assay purposes. Often this work is carried out using a microscope for the examination of the rock chips. The full sample bag from the interval chosen for assay purposes is then sent directly from the drill site to the lab, located in Sparks, NV.

About the Lapon Gold Project

The Lapon Gold Project consists of 147 unpatented mining claims totaling approximately 2,940 acres, located in the Wassuk Range within Nevada’s Walker Lane structural corridor, a regionally significant northwest-trending deformation zone that hosts numerous gold and precious metal deposits. The Project comprises the Lapon Canyon claim block, the Pikes Peak claims located approximately 4 kilometres to the north, and the Rattlesnake and Range Front claims located approximately 3 kilometres to the west and at approximately 600 metres lower elevation relative to current drilling at Lapon Canyon. The Lapon Canyon portion of the Project, consisting of 96 claims, is subject to a US$5 million exploration stream earn-in agreement with Nevada Canyon Gold Corp., as announced on February 3, 2025. The Project is accessible by secondary state roads located approximately 25 kilometres from the nearest highway and is situated approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Yerington, Nevada. Electrical transmission infrastructure passes within approximately 3 kilometres of the Project area. The Rattlesnake, Range Front, and Pikes Peak claim groups cover approximately 8 kilometres of prospective range-front structural trends interpreted to represent extensions of the mineralized system identified at Lapon Canyon, and define several additional exploration targets. The Rattlesnake and Pikes Peak areas host historical workings, including adits, shafts, and underground development, as well as road access throughout portions of the claim blocks. Limited modern exploration has been conducted on these claim groups prior to Walker River’s acquisition. The Rattlesnake workings are located approximately 3 kilometres along strike and approximately 600 metres lower in elevation relative to the Lapon Canyon mineralization, supporting the interpretation of a vertically extensive mineralized system. Lapon Canyon hosts historical underground workings totaling approximately 2,000 feet (610 metres) developed through three adits. Historical sampling reported in an NI 43-101 technical report (Montgomery and Barr, 2004) returned numerous high-grade gold assay results, including values exceeding 1 ounce per ton gold, with a reported sample returning 20.6 ounces per ton gold from the end of the A Adit.

Table 1. Drill Results

*Sampled width is presented. True width is estimated to be between 75 and 95 percent of sampled widths.

The 2025 drill programs have led to the discovery of intrusive-related gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon, significantly increasing the Project’s exploration potential. Unlike previous programs, which returned narrower but higher-grade intervals, recent drilling has produced much wider gold intercepts. This discovery suggests strong potential for substantial gold emplacement within deeper-seated rock units. To advance the understanding of these zones, geophysical surveys are being planned to help define future drill targets within the deeper intrusive bodies.

It is also notable that the gold encountered in drillholes LC-25-158 through 165 is hosted within monzonitic units. The presence of monzonite as the host rock suggests the potential for a monzonite porphyry system—deposit types that are associated with very large gold and copper-bearing systems in Nevada. Elevated copper values identified in the Company’s multi-element geochemical sampling further supports this interpretation.

The 2025 drill program at Lapon Canyon focused on exploration and resource definition at the existing Hotspot deposit, as well as testing extensions of the deposit along strike and down dip. Drilling at Hotspot has significantly expanded the footprint of gold mineralization to the south and east. Both historical and current results indicate that the gold system is predominantly sub-horizontal to moderately south-dipping, with evidence for more steeply dipping, high-grade shoots developed within the broader mineralized zones.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We continue to be extremely encouraged by our drill results which are confirming the potential and significantly increasing the gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon. As evidenced by drill holes on the upper new roads at Hotspot, returning significant gold values. We’re looking forward to additional results from Lapon Canyon and very excited with our ongoing interpretation of the gold mineralization at the Project. The discovery of gold in Monzonite only increases our excitement for the potential at Lapon Canyon.”

Results from previous and current (2025) drill programs, including results not yet received, will be the basis for the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project which is expected to be complete sometime in 2026. In addition, work will continue at Lapon Canyon to identify future drill targets in the deeper-seated intrusive bodies. Further drill results will be released as they become available.

The Lapon Gold Project includes Lapon Canyon, the Pikes Peak claims located 4 kilometres to the north, and the Rattlesnake and Range Front claims 3 kilometres to the west and over 600 meters lower than the present drilling at Lapon Canyon. The Lapon Canyon (96 claims) portion of the Project, is subject to an $5m USD exploration stream earn-in agreement with Nevada Canyon Gold Corp (news release 02-03-2025).  The Project is easily accessible by secondary state roads from the main highway (25 kilometres), and is located approximately 60 kilometres southeast of Yerington, Nevada. A state power grid transmission line passes within three kilometres of the Project.

The Rattlesnake, Range Front, and Pikers Peak claims cover over 8 km of possible extensions of the range front zones to the west, north, and south of Lapon Canyon, adding several additional drill target areas to the project. Rattlesnake and Pikes Peak contain numerous historical mining and milling areas that consist of adits at different levels, shafts and underground workings, and a network of existing roads providing access throughout.  Little or no exploration work has been carried out on these claims prior to Walker’s arrival. It is notable that the Rattlesnake area and adits are on strike with the Lapon Canyon discoveries located 3 km on strike and 600 meters above. Lapon Canyon hosts historical high grade gold mining with approximately 2000 feet of undergoing workings in three adits. Historical underground work returned numerous assay values in the one ounce per ton range, with a sample at the end of the A adit returning 20.6 ounces per ton Au. (NI 43-101, Montgomery and Barr, 2004).

Table 1. Drill Results

*Sampled width is presented. True width is estimated to be between 75 and 95 percent of sampled widths.

Drilling at Hotspot has significantly extended gold mineralization to the south and the east. The 2025 drill program at Lapon Canyon is exploration and resource definition focused, with drill holes planned to infill the existing Hotspot deposit and to explore extensions of the deposit along strike and downdip. All holes from this release were collared from the new upper drill road east of Hotspot.  Drilling at Lapon Canyon is carried out in different directions (azimuths) from the same drill pad for systematic drilling. Drill pads are placed at every 30 to 60 meters, with up to six holes per pad.

Both past and current drilling indicate that the gold system is largely sub-horizontal to moderately south-dipping in geometry, with evidence suggesting the presence of more steeply dipping, high-grade shoots developed within the broader mineralized zones.

Drilling continues to confirm gold mineralization extends to the south and east of the Hotspot and is hosted in multiple bedrock units beyond the originally interpreted iron-oxide-sericite altered granite. Historically, gold mineralization at Lapon was almost exclusively confined to the altered granite, as demonstrated by both past mining and earlier drilling. The recent 2025 drill results now indicate significant gold mineralization within diorite, monzonite, and granite. In addition, notable chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) has been observed. These findings suggest the potential discovery of a new mineralized zone south and east of the Hotspot, substantially expanding the growth potential of the Lapon Canyon Project. Multi-element geochemistry will be utilized to test the copper potential of Lapon’s already robust gold system.

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We continue to be extremely encouraged by these new results which are confirming the potential and significantly increasing the gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon. As evidenced by the drill holes on the new upper road at Hotspot, returning significant gold values. Drilling is ongoing and we’re looking forward to additional results from Lapon Canyon and very excited with our ongoing interpretation of the gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon.”

On-going work at Lapon Canyon consists of data compilation, interpretation and resource modelling. Further drill results will be released as they become available. Field work and drilling is ongoing.

Results from previous and current (2025) drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will enable the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project.

Table 1. Highlighted holes released today. * Denotes the above drill results are presented with lengths representing sampled lengths. True width is estimated to be between 75 and 95 percent of sampled widths.

  •  Drill hole LC-25-149 returned 1.35 g/t Au over 45.7 meters starting at 126.5 meters, demonstrating the robust nature and continuity of the gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon.
  • Drill hole LC-25-142 returned 1.62 g/t Au over 45.7 meters starting at 112.8 meters.
  • Drill hole LC-25-143 returned 1.76 g/t Au over 35.1 meters starting at 155.4 meters, including 2.55 g/t over 19.8 meters.
  • Drill hole LC-25-135 returned 1.65 g/t Au over 42.7 meters starting at 71.6 meters
  • Drilling at Hotspot has significantly extended gold mineralization to the south and the east.
  • The 2025 drill program at Lapon Canyon is exploration and definition focused. Drill holes were both infill and offset along strike and dip (e.g. LC-25-135 among others) and exploration drilling on the Hotspot’s new upper drill road (e.g. LC-25-149 among others).
  • Drilling at Lapon Canyon is carried out in different directions (azimuths) from the same drill pad for systematic drilling. Drill pads are placed at every 30 to 60 meters, with up to six holes per pad.
  • Both past and current drilling indicate that the gold system is largely sub-horizontal in geometry, with evidence suggesting the presence of more steeply dipping, high-grade shoots developed within the broader mineralized zones.”
  • Importantly, drilling has confirmed that gold mineralization extends to the south and east of the Hotspot and is now hosted in multiple bedrock units beyond the original FeOx-sericite altered granite. Historically, gold at Lapon was almost exclusively confined to the altered granite, as demonstrated by both past mining and earlier drilling. Current results, however, show significant gold mineralization within granodiorite, diorite, monzonite, and biotite-granite. In addition, notable chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) has been observed. These findings suggest the potential discovery of a new mineralized zone south and east of the Hotspot, substantially expanding the growth potential of the Lapon Gold Project.
  • The new upper drill road extension, located approximately 125 meters northeast of the projected Hotspot Zone, was constructed in an area underlain by ‘fresh’ biotite-granite that appeared barren of gold mineralization at surface. However, drilling along this road (holes LC-24-123 to LC-24-131) intersected significant gold mineralization within this previously untested unit, including 1.04 g/t Au over 30.5 m in LC-24-128 and 3.23 g/t Au over 3.0 m in LC-24-124.

Table 2. All drill holes and intervals released today. * Denotes the above drill results are presented with lengths representing sampled lengths. True width is estimated to be between 75 and 95 percent of sampled widths

Michel David, Walker River’s President & CEO states: “We are extremely encouraged by these new results which not only continue to confirm the potential of the project, but now significantly increase it with the discovery of gold in new bedrock units. We look forward to additional results from Lapon Canyon and very excited with our ongoing interpretation of the gold mineralization at Lapon Canyon.”

On-going work at Lapon Canyon consists of data compilation, interpretation and resource modelling. Further drill results, including holes LC 25-146 &147 will be released as they become available. Field work and drilling is ongoing.

Results from previous and current (2024-2025) drill programs, including the subsequent data compilation will enable the completion of an initial NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource on the Project.

The scientific and technical information contained in this news release has been reviewed, verified and approved by Dave Nuttall P.Geo, President of Geo Exploration, who is an independent Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

About the Lapon Gold Project

The Lapon Gold Project consists of 147 claims (2940 acres) situated in the Wassuk Range, within Nevada’s Prolific Walker Lane shear zone, a 100 km wide structural corridor extending in a southeast direction from Reno, Nevada.
